Cai’e Mausoleum

Cai’e Mausoleum is one of the large tombs of Mt.Yuelu, which was rated among the Key Cultural Relic under province-level protection in 1956. Cai’e Mausoleum, among old maples and cypresses, looks quite solemn and serene. The Mausoleum appears like a sword, indicating the heroic act of the General Cai’e. Cai’e, who is from Shaoyang, Hunan, is a famous democratic revolutionary and an outstanding militarist. He is one of the pioneers of the Xinhai Revolution and he plays an important role in Modern History of China
